Prompts, edits, comments, votes, gallery uploads, and collections you submit are stored and publicly displayed on the platform. Edit history (including your username and timestamps) is visible to all users.
1.3 Automatically collected data
- IP address and approximate location (country level)
- Browser type, operating system, and device information
- Pages visited, time spent, and interaction data
- Referral source (how you found Promptsy)
2. How We Use Your Information
- Operate the Service— authentication, content display, search, notifications, and moderation.
- Trust & safety— detect spam, vandalism, and abuse. Calculate trust scores and enforce community guidelines.
- Improve the platform— analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- Communicate with you— send transactional emails (email verification, edit notifications) and occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.
3. What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
- We do not share your email address publicly — only your chosen username and display name are visible.

- Public contributions(prompts, edits, comments) remain on the platform even after account deletion, attributed to "Deleted User" to preserve content integrity and version history.
- Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes, then deleted.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
